It will not install and my WiFi is still down.My system is an Alienware m15x with Windows 7 64-bit. I recently re-installed Windows due to a small bug that was hampering Google Chrome. Before I re-installed Windows, the WiFi was working just fine. Any working WiFi driver?
Dell :: Getting Bluetooth Driver To Install On Inspiron 1420
Aug 23, 2009I went to the Dell Drivers and Downloads site in order to get a driver for my bluetooth. The driver I found was C:DELLDRIVERSR140135, I checked the compatibility and it is supposed to be compatible with my system and Windows Vista 32 bit. However, whenever I try to install it, a window pops up instructing me to push Fn+F2 or the Radio on/off switch. Fn+F2 does not work and there is no radio switch. I tried to start over from the beginning, now it's telling my I need Windows Vista to install this driver ... I am using Windows Vista. I checked the Device Manager ... no exlamation points or question marks.

Dell :: Studio XPS 13 M1330 - Win 7 64 Bit - Cannot Install Bluetooth Driver
Jul 18, 2012When I attempt to install R226750. It gets to a point where it tells me to activate bluetooth with the wireless switch. My wireless is always on but even when I toggled it on and off, it did not make a difference.
I also installed the DELL Radio switch patch for turning on my bluetooth and that has not worked. why my machine cannot turn on the bluetooth?
Just FYI - I am trying to install a mouse and printer which I am able to see on other bluetooth devices.

I tried to install in Compatible mode but getting failure error message (Windows 7 service pack is not installed).System details : Windows 7 OS - 32 Bit System, Windows 7 service pack is not installed. Serial Tag - < ADMIN NOTE : Service tag removed per privacy policy >

- To install software in Compatible mode does Windows 7 service pack needs to be installed?If yes than which version?
- How can we check that Wireless driver is installed correctly ?

Dell :: Inspiron 1750 / Belkin Bluetooth Adapter F8TO16 - Driver Won't Install
Dec 28, 2012This afternoon, I plugged in a Belkin bluetooth adapter F8TO16 and paired it with a pair of 7dayshop headphones. Instead of leaving well alone with an old driver, I decided to update the Belkin driver - which went well. However, the Dell 365 Module then reported an error and trouble shooting informed me that it now had a driver error. Windows searched for and found a driver, but could not install it.. I've since downloaded and installed new Dell drivers for it but I still get the same result - can't install driver. (The module was working fine before I up-dated the Belkin driver.)
I figure I now have to un-install the Module and then install an up-dated version. Is this the right way to go and if it is, how do I go about it? I'm using Win7 64 bit on an Inspiron 1750.

Cisco VPN :: Dell E6410 Laptop / VPN Error 412 - Windows XP SP3
Jun 6, 2011I've got a work laptop (Dell E6410). Now I should qualify I'm a member of my employers IT Service Desk and I'm trying to discover how to fix this problem as its becoming more and more common (to the point we've even opened a Problem Report PR) but I'm unsure if the network ops team have contacted the TAC for support.
What I've done in the VPN client is set 'LOG LEVEL 15' against everything so it spits everything out for diagnosis. This laptop I have 2 weeks ago was fine, since then its been spitting 412 error. And its beginning to frustrate the userbase.
- Laptop types: Dell E6400/E6410/E4310
- Connection Types: WiFi, Cabled or NextG mobile devices.
- VPN Version: 05.00.0003.0560a
- VPN Type: We use Group Authentication for the profile, then RSA + Domain login on the other end.
- OS: Win XP SP3
What have we tried:
- Deleting and recreating the RSA SecurID account for the user
- Reimaging the laptop
- Reinstalling the VPN
- Repairing the laptop
- Recreating the *.pcf file for the profile.
Originally I had found if using a NextG device and turning off the WiFi it would stop the 412 error but that has stopped working as a workaround and I've tried on both a cable connection (Direct to modem) and direct to my routed/switched network at home. Same error on 2 different types of internet connection.
In the log when I set L15 debugging I found....
148 17:29:10.890 06/07/11 Sev=Warning/3 CVPND/0xA340000DThe virtual adapter was not recognized by the operating system.
149 17:29:10.890 06/07/11 Sev=Warning/2 CM/0xE310000AThe virtual adapter failed to enable
356 17:29:33.453 06/07/11 Sev=Info/6 CM/0x6310003AUnable to restore route changes from file.
357 17:29:33.453 06/07/11 Sev=Info/6 CM/0x63100037The routing table was returned to original state prior to Virtual Adapter
[code]....
I will try and find out what kind of end-point we have. But reading those snippits its like trying to activate the virtual adapter but can't seem to do it.

DELL E6410 Latitude Laptop Limited Connectivity Or No Connection?
Aug 6, 2011I have WIN XP installed on my DELL E6410 Latitude laptop. When I start my laptop, it acquires the internet connection fine, whether wireless or the wired connection.However on the wired connection, if I unplug the cable and replug it, it does not get the connection. It shows Limited connectivity or no connection. If I try to repair, it says , the IP address could not be renewed. Nothing works but restarting the laptop.Same is the case with wireless connection at home. The first time it catches the wireless fine. However if the system gets locked because of inactivity, and I unlock it, I am left with LIMITED CONNECTIVITY or NO CONNECTION message on the Wireless. I need to restart my comp because the repair or the disable and enable of WLAN does not facilitate.

Dell :: Latitude E6410 - Cannot Ping Any Address Or Website Even Provider's DNS
Aug 9, 2012I have Latitude E6410 and connect to internet through wireless network to Zyxel ADSL modem. My problem has started 20 days ago when I was connected then I was disconnected from internet. The status is as below:
- I can ping the modem which means the laptop the link between modem and laptop is working while I can not ping any address or website even the provider's DNS. At the same time, if I connect the LAN cable, every thing is working properly. I tried with different laptops and there was no problem. To resolve the problem temporarily, I have to restart the modem or change the IP for my wireless card. In this case it works for another 30-60 minutes. the issue is the same when I use different modem.

Dell :: Latitude E6410 - DW WLAN Card Not Working - Wireless Adapter Doesn't Exit?
Mar 10, 2012I haven't installed anything new lately, nothing that would affect the wireless, but my wireless suddenly stopped working. My wireless has been working successfully for the past 2 years no problems till now. I have a Dell Latitude E6410 my computer is running Windows 7 32bit. When I open up the DW WLAN Card Utility it says 'There are currently no wireless adapters available and enabled. Please enable any available wireless adapters before accessing this configuration utility. I tried reinstalling drivers for the wireless but my computer says 'no compatible hardware found'.
Also the under the wireless adapters section of Device Manager there isn't an adapter for wireless, but there is an unknown device.
Here's a View at my Device Manager [URL]
I've tried to use computer restart magic but no luck there.
Also, my computer is running on a university network. My roommate's wireless is working fine. Also I've already system restored to a point where I know it was working, no luck...

Have spent almost 3 hours on the phone with tech support at this point!
